Description: Compact deciduous shrub with sea blue or reddish purple lacecap flowers, blue-centred, bluer on acid soils; the leaves turn purple in autumn. Good for tubs. Does well in sun or shade if kept moist and well-fed; dead-head and prune to fat buds in spring.
